Just in time for the spring celebrations, visitors from all across the land descend upon the village of Meihua. They come by long boat journeys from across the sea, by horse across the plains, and by treacherous cliff paths over the mountain passes. Some hire a ride up the river whose headwaters flow through the village, until they reach the point where even the shallowest of boats can go no further; and then they must walk. Meanwhile, in the village, residents set up tents in the Festival Fields, stringing bright, colourful banners from hook to hook between the structures.
Tell us, in a paragraph or so, how you arrived in Meihua for the spring celebration! How long did the journey take? Did you meet any interesting characters along the way?
